As is tradition at New York Fashion Week, A-listers are making cameos on the runways, and star-studded parties are taking place all over the city. So it was only a matter of time before Manhattanite Katie Holmes stepped out to join the social whirl.
The 43-year-old actor traded in her cashmere knits, relaxed jeans and everyday loafers in favor of more of an elegant after-dark ensemble to attend Tory Burch’s autumn/winter 2022 show. Holmes was pictured outside of the Pennsylvania-born designer’s show, clad in a sweater dress from the pre-fall 2022 collection (look 14, if you’re looking to add it to your wish list).
The Dawson’s Creek star had ditched her usual normcore footwear for minimalist sandals, complete with bejeweled heels. One item she couldn’t bear to part ways with, however, was her signature oversized coat.
Her fashion week transformation came shortly after the actor was snapped in New York running errands. For that outing, Holmes stuck to her preppy uniform of relaxed jeans, roomy sweaters and her favorite Chloé bag.
