Kathy Hilton says time for Kyle Richards to start dating again

Leave it to Kathy Hilton to shoot straight from the hip — and aim for right between the eyes.

After a photo of Mauricio Umansky, the ex-husband of her sister and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards, surfaced, Hilton imparted some tough love on her baby sis.

“I said, ‘It won’t be the last. There’ll be many, many more,'” Hilton told E! News, noting that Richards is “hanging in there.”

She added, “I think she’s fine. I think it’s more about how the girls are gonna take it.”

Last week, Umansky was caught canoodling with a new woman, a year after he and Richards had announced their separation following 27 years of marriage. The dissolution of their relationship played out in part on last season of RHOBH, though Richards was accused of keeping her marital problems too close to the vest, both by her fellow cast members and fans of the reality show.

In a bit of a shocker, Richards decided to come back for season 14, having expressed doubt she wanted to continue on with the series. But perhaps the involvement of Hilton — who, along with Oscar-nominee Jennifer Tilly, will inject some pizzazz as friends this coming season — had something to do with it.

Hilton may be a good influence on Richards, after all, if her advice to her little sister is any indication.

“I said to her, ‘You’ve gotta get out there!’” Hilton told E!. “If I was in her shoes after that picture, I’d be out within three days.”
