The next 2nd Saturday event will feature a Dog Parade and Fashion Show in downtown Plainview.
Activities will kick off on July 9 with the Plainview Rodeo Association Rodeo Parade at 10 a.m. The parade will start at 11th St. and Broadway and will end at Broadway Park.
The Salvation Army, which is the July 2nd Saturday business sponsor, will team up with Lizzy’s Boutique for the dog parade and fashion show. Music will be provided by DJ Lopez. Vendors will also be set up at 11 a.m. on the 600 block of Ash.
The Salvation Army will also offer a shopping special – $7 per bag – throughout the day.
Vendors and food trucks will be set up from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Scheduled vendors for the event are as follows:
