In an ad campaign video for Jennifer Lopez’s latest collaboration with the brand Coach, the 52-year-old interviews herself (via People). J.Lo asks herself how many bling cups she has, what’s her favorite of the songs she’s recorded, and more. In a subsequent video for the campaign, she dives into fashion. Lopez is asked to sum up her personal style in a few words, to which she responds, “timeless, sexy, classic and tomboy.” She also shares that she enjoys wearing “Easy, cool pieces with a bit of attitude.” This comes as a surprise, because Lopez is known for her killer red carpet style. She’s often spotted wearing stunning gowns with deep necklines and high slits.
However, the megastar revealed that she prefers a more simple ensemble. She explained in a statement about the collaboration, “Coach and I have a lot in common. Mostly we believe in the power of being real — in authenticity. This collection is so Coach and so me. It’s wearable, and a little bit glamorous –– but also sporty.
