Ice Cream Fans Can Vote Which Discontinued Blue Bell Flavor They Want to Return

Blue Bell ice cream fans have the chance to bring back one of their favorite discontinued flavors thanks to its “The Great Scoop Revival Flavor Tournament.”

The company announced the tournament on Monday, June 24, with voting beginning on Tuesday, June 25.

In March Madness-style, Blue Bell placed 16 discontinued flavors in brackets, and customers can vote for which one they want to come out of retirement and back on shelves in 2025.

The flavors were selected based on customer requests and include Tiramisu, Strawberry Cheesecake, Groom’s Cake, Hot Fudge Brownie, Cherry Amaretto Cordial, Triple Chocolate, Cookie Cake and Key Lime Pie.

Flavors that have already been eliminated include Blueberry Cheesecake, Red Velvet Cake, Raspberry Fudge, Gingerbread House, Mocha Madness, Creole Cream Cheese, Lemon Bliss and Triple Carmel.

“You never forget the taste of your favorite Blue Bell Ice Cream flavor!” Lauren Lewis, Blue Bell public relations manager, told USA Today. “For more than 100 years, we have produced many great-tasting and innovative products. Unfortunately, some were only available for a short time. But now you can bring back one of those delicious creations by casting your vote in The Great Scoop Revival Flavor Tournament.”

Several fans of the brand flocked to Blue Bell’s Instagram account after the initial announcement, calling out their favorite flavors and asking the company to bring back all of them.

“I vote we bring back all the flavors and don’t retire any of them 🤷🏼‍♀️😂,” one user wrote.

“Pick 12 flavors and bring them back for a month each next year,” another added.

The winning ice cream flavor will be announced on Monday, July 1, in honor of National Ice Cream Month.
