‘House Of Villains’ Adaptation, ‘Operación Triunfo’ Sets Natalia Téllez As Host & More ‘Casa De Los Famosos’

Telemundo is leading the way in unscripted programming, and in their 2026-2027 programming slate, we’ll see more of their leading franchises, including La Casa de los FamososExatlón Estados Unidos, and Top Chef VIP. Joining the slate is the singing competition Operación Triunfo and an adaptation of Peacock’s House of Villains.

For Latinos, live content is not just a form of entertainment; it’s how they spend time together and connect across generations, ages, and distance. Telemundo’s reality franchises fuel daily engagement, social conversation, and cross-platform viewing. These formats are designed as multiplatform ecosystems—extending beyond linear to streaming, and from digital to social — to build lasting audience connection and loyalty.

Capitalizing on the success of La Casa de los Famosos, Telemundo is upping the stakes with a new competition featuring aspiring singers. Operación Triunfo is set to premiere this summer on the network with Natalia Téllez tapped to host the show. Also joining the lineup is Juego de Villanos (working title), an adaptation of House of Villains, which brings reality stars together under one roof to find out who is the most villanous of them all.

“I think we have a very interesting, not only lineup, but a future in terms of the way that we are not only producing these reality shows, but also creating the whole 360 environment around the properties that we are producing, there’s an exciting moment for the content and the TV,” SVP of Unscripted Content, Adrián Santucho, told Deadline previewing Telemundo’s Unscripted slate. “What we are doing now is not only producing the show, but programming our shows, Monday through Friday, Sundays, two, three hours per day. It’s a very strong way to create the fandom that we are creating around the properties.”

He continued, “It’s not about a TV show … is more of a community. And I think this is an opportunity for us to keep growing and bring people, not only to our screen, but to our ecosystem.”

Santucho, who joined Telemundo earlier this year, said that although the network has produced existing formats, he sees a future where they start setting new trends with new formats, adding, “It’s those shows that we have to start pushing now at some point [as] we are in the position we can create trends now.”
