Home of the Week: 111 Dalhart Dr., SE, Leesburg | Entertainment

This five-bedroom, four-bathroom home located in a sought-after community in Leesburg, is on the market for $775,000.

Listing agent Kevin LaRue of Century 21 Redwood Realty said the 4,000-square-foot home is “especially nice” because it is located in a great location in Evergreen Meadows and is close to commuter routes.

“It’s also nice because all five bedrooms are really huge. It has a newer roof and new deck as well,” he said.

The home, which was built in 2003, features a gourmet kitchen with Corian counters, a center island and breakfast room. Adjacent to the kitchen is a spacious family room with a gas fireplace.

Also on the main level are a formal living room, dining room and home office.

The owner’s suite has a walk-in closet and large bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower.

The finished basement includes a recreation room, gas fireplace, built-in book cases, a large wet bar, half bathroom and storage area.

The surrounding community offers myriad amenities, including a pool, tennis courts, common areas, a playground and walking paths, he said.

LaRue worked with Dianne Buckley of Staged Envy to design and stage the home prior to the listing.

Buckley created a design plan and she outlined recommendations to help produce the best possible photos for the listing.

“I find that through the process it helps minimize the homeowners’ stress and they are not overwhelmed,” she said.

Typically, Buckley said the biggest return on time and investment before listing a property, is to paint interior rooms and clean or replace the floors and carpets.

“These are the top most important things to prepare for potential buyers,” she said.

Next, Buckley helps rearrange furniture and she either adds or removes accessories to showcase the spaciousness of each room.

“We also like to add life to each room with plants and flowers,” she said. “It goes a long way in creating a cozier, homier look.”

“This is a great example of how a home can look when it gets staged to look like a model home,” Buckley said.
