Hello Sport podcasts team up with SEN 1170AM for in depth series with big sporting guests

SEN will welcome a new and entertaining way of discussing sport with popular podcasters Tom Birmingham and Edward Simpson from Hello Sport joining SEN 1170am across Sydney airwaves.

Beginning on July 20 at 8pm and replayed on Sundays at Midday, Tom and Eddy will host All Talk with Hello Sport, an hour-long, 13-episode journey with a sporting legend to discuss their career, current sporting news and everything else in between.

Fans will also be treated to an extended version of the show that will be filmed and available for viewing on the SEN YouTube channel.

The Hello Sport podcast began in 2017 and made the headlines in 2020 when retired NRL star Anthony Watmough made explosive revelations about ex-teammate Daly Cherry-Evans.

Since then, big sporting names such as Ricky Ponting, Peter V’Landys, Kurtley Beale and UFC Champion Alexander Volkanovski have all appeared on the podcast, joining in the self-deprecating banter loved by their audience.

Kicking off episode one of All Talk with Hello Sport is international rugby league star James Graham. Fox League expert commentator Braith Anasta and Sydney Morning Herald’s Chief Sports Writer Andrew Webster are slated to join Tom and Eddy in following episodes, with further guests to be announced.

In addition to hosting All Talk with Hello Sport, Tom and Eddy will provide their candid and self confessed ‘unqualified opinions’ during live NRL matches, providing a unique and humourous view of the games beyond traditional match calling.

Jeremy Markham, SEN Content Manager for NSW and QLD said the partnership between SEN and Hello Sport is a great pairing for both brands.

“SEN is looking forward to partnering with Hello Sport for their ‘All Talk’ Series. Tom and Eddy have built a loyal fan base that continues to grow, and we are excited to get their unique point of view of sport across our channels.’

On the opportunity to deep dive into the careers of some of their heroes, Tom Birmingham said:

“We’re excited to dribble and yarn with some of the biggest names in Australian sport.”
