KUALA LUMPUR: Compound notices totalling RM90,000 were issued to 87 patrons and three owners of entertainment outlets here for violating the Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOP).
Kuala Lumpur Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Azman Ayob said raids were conducted on three entertainment outlets in the city on Friday night.
“Each patron and owner was issued a RM1,000 compound notice.“They committed an offence under Rule 17 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Regulations as activities at entertainment outlets are still prohibited as per the Covid-19 SOP,” he said in a statement yesterday.
