Fels started at HSF in Perth and moved to its banking and finance group in Sydney in 2002. She finished as an executive counsel at HSF.
London-headquartered Allen & Overy entered the Australian legal market in 2010 and has about two dozen partners across its offices in Sydney and Perth.
The firm’s local outpost is focused on cross-border work – “either finance or trade or industrial investments” – its senior partner Wim Dejonghe told The Australian Financial Review on a recent trip to Australia.
