Fashion show brings Grand Island boutiques together in support of support Habitat for Humanity

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) – Grand Island boutiques showed off their shops’ latest trends at a the Build a Dream Fashion Show Saturday.

Models from the both West Anna Boutique and A-List Fashion Boutique were dressed from head to toe in their shops’ tops, jeans, dresses, shoes and more.

The fashion show wasn’t only to display what the boutiques had available at their stores, they were also supporting the Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity.

Alyssa Heagy, executive director for Habitat for Humanity, was at the event Saturday.

“We build homes for individuals in our community, but we do that thanks to the generous donations from incredible people like West Anna and A-list and we could not do it without them,” Heagy said.

She added, each person in attendance paid a $10 fee to watch the show, which would go toward helping out the organization.

Coming up next for the Grand Island Habitat for Humanity, Heagy said they planned to host their biggest fundraiser of the year ‘Build a Dream’.

The ‘kick-off’ event will be held at 5 p.m. March 19 at the Riverside Golf Club. To register, you can visit the organization’s website.
