Direct-to-consumer fashion platform a.k.a. Brands Holding Corp. on Tuesday filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering.
The San Francisco company’s filing indicates it plans to raise $100 million, although that figure is often used as a placeholder to calculate filing fees.
A.k.a., which earlier this year acquired Australian streetwear brand Culture Kings, also owns the Princess Polly, Petal & Pup and Rebdolls brands.
The company, which is backed by Boston alternative-investment firm Summit Partners, said it plans to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol AKA.
