Houston is an emerging fashion capital 一 we have all of the high-end stores you could possibly think of in the Houston Galleria, and the fashion capitol is starting to take note.
Critically acclaimed NYC-based lifestyle brand Frances Valentine will make its big debut in Texas this September in Houston’s River Oaks District. Brand reps from Frances Valentine said in a press release that Houston is “a leading market for their growth, given heightened consumer demand and record e-commerce sales figures.”
Frances Valentine Co-founder and CEO Elyce Arons said that the team visited Houston last February for a trunk show and immediately fell in love with the River Oaks District and its charm. The brand offers a posh look and feel, with its brightly colored patterns and designs featuring timeless style and distinctive taste. The store’s forthcoming Houston location will display their women’s ready-to-wear apparel along with handbags and accessories.

“We are thrilled that Frances Valentine selected River Oaks District as the home of its first Texas boutique,” said Festival Companies (Frances Valentine’s parent company) CEO Rosalind Schurgin. “Every addition to our dynamic portfolio of global luxury and contemporary designers is thoughtfully curated to enhance and complement an array of unique offerings while appealing to our diverse, international clientele.”
The brand brought in the New York-based interior designer Steven Sclaroff to help with the development of the Houston location. Customers will find hand-selected vintage furnishings, a curated art collection of bold colorful pieces, and a Mid-century chandelier in the central foyer.
Frances Valentine will be located in a 1,200-square-foot storefront in the River Oaks District, at 4444 Westheimer Road, Suite H- 105.
