Each week during the fall sports season the Daily Post will honor a Fans Choice Fall Athlete of the Week based on fan voting during the week at www.gwinnettprepsports.com.
Voting begins by Monday morning and closes at noon on Thursday. The winner will be honored in the print and web versions of the Daily Post.
This week’s candidates are:
Last week: Drove in two runs with the game-winning hit in the seventh inning for a 7-6 victory over Apalachee
Last week: Drove in two seventh-inning runs for the winning margin in a 7-6 victory over Bethlehem Christian
Last week: Had a grand slam home run and was the winning pitcher, allowing no earned runs, in a 10-2 win over Lovett, and also was the winning pitcher and went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a 14-5 win over Pace Academy
Last week: Had 31 digs, including the 1,000th of her career, along with 34 kills and six aces in four matches as the Falcons won the Northeast Georgia Queens of the Court Tournament, as well as 25 kills and 18 digs in wins over Loganville, Winder-Barrow and Monroe Area
