ESFB has done very well on the liability front while diversifying its asset base away from MFI. However, it needs to manage asset quality and build better provisioning buffers. Retain Buy with a TP of Rs80 (2x Dec’23E ABV) and also on holdco with a TP of Rs175.

Promoters held 81.36 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2021, while FIIs owned 2.1 per cent, DIIs 11.41 per cent.
