Waiver
The Celtics Dancers are evolving into a COED dance team, expanding
diversity within the game experience, community and beyond!
What we are looking for:
- Advanced dancers with talent in hip hop, jazz funk and traditional jazz.
- Tricking, breakdancing and tumbling are a plus!
- Dancers must be able to learn stylized choreography and perform in unison.
- The Celtics Dancers are a precision dance team and looking to level up performances and enhance
the fan experience!
You may register online or
in-person on the day of casting. NOTE: if registering in-person you must bring a current headshot
and resume.
Casting Dates/Location
NOTE: If you cannot make any of the casting dates, you may submit a video via URL on
the registration form. See below for detailed instructions.

- What to bring: Current headshot and resume (if you
didn’t register online) - What to wear: Choose your style! Please wear sneakers or
jazz shoes. No heels or bare feet - What to expect: Dancers will learn stylized choreography
and be asked to perform a solo of 4-6 eight counts. Music will be provided

Video Submission Instructions
If you cannot attend one of the in-person casting dates, the Celtics will be accepting video
submissions for the NEW 2022-23 COED Celtics Dance Team beginning Friday,
August 26th and no later than Thursday, September
8th. Please see below for video requirements:
- All candidates must register
online. - Include 2 current photos, resume and a signed Waiver, Release and Assumption of Risk form
Audition video should be in the form of a video link from either YouTube, Vimeo or Dropbox.
Please make sure videos are set to private. - Video should include the following elements:
- Introduction with full name, where you are located and one fun fact. We want to see your
personality! - Example: “Hi My name is Celtics Lucky, I’m from Boston and I live at TD Garden. A fun fact
about me is that I can flip 25 times in a row with my eyes closed!!” - 1 minute dance video showcasing movement in either jazz, hip hop or jazz funk.
Breakdancing, tricking and tumbling is encouraged. - Video submissions are due by Thursday, September 8th.
- All candidates must be at least 18 years of age to audition.
