Even while running errands, Emily Ratajkowski looks as stylish as ever.
Hot pink seems to be dominating the colorway this season. Lately, a bevy of celebrities have been spotted making the bold color an integral part of their outfit. From Kylie Jenner, who recently shared photos of herself posing in a hot-pink fishnet catsuit, to even Kate Middleton, who wore a glitzy hot-pink gown during her royal tour in Belize, the shade seems to be inescapable.
It helps that Valentino’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli made the color—an explosive hue dubbed “Valentino Pink PP” by the Pantone color specialists who developed it—the centerpiece of the house’s fall/winter 2022 runway. The now signature shade of fuchsia doused 40 different looks in the collection. Since, “Valentino Pink PP” has taken over the red carpet scene, being worn by the likes of Anne Hathaway, Gigi Hadid, Nicola Peltz, and more.
The show notes stated at the time, “The accumulation of pink elements is such as to eliminate the visual shock to bring out, together, the unique character of the person, expressed by the face and the eyes, and the work on the pieces of clothing: the signs that shape them into a silhouette, the textures that give them consistency, the decorations that are part of the construction. The subtraction is, in fact, amplification, magnifying both the humans and the clothing.”
