Both teams have also been successful in that aspect, and it doesn’t truly matter which team has the ball. We’re going to get an extremely slow-paced game in all aspects.
The Chargers have struggled defensively this season, but they’re still relatively average, and that’s the key. They also have performed well in terms of points allowed (21.0) per game because of their ability to control the ball.
The Eagles have been a drastically better defense. They rank in the top 10 in most categories, and they’re coming off an embarrassing game against the Chicago Bears. Overall, they’re also only giving up 20.8 points per game this season.
