Donna Kelce showed some love for her future daughter-in-law, Taylor Swift, during Monday Night Football.
Kelce, 72, arrived at the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Everbank Stadium on Monday, October 6, rocking her signature Chiefs jersey featuring son Travis Kelceās name and number.
This time, however, Donna added a special memento in honor of Swift ā a white baseball cap that featured a drawing of the pop star, 35, prominently on the front. The hat also included several nods to Swift and her die-hard fans, and in addition to several ā of course ā friendship bracelets. (Travis and Swift announced their engagement last month.)
Donna wore the same cap when she, Travis, 36, and other members of the Kelce clan went to see The Official Release Party of a Showgirl together on Sunday, October 5.
The decision for Donna to wear a Swift-themed article of clothing comes days after Swift released her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which dropped on Friday, October 3.
Donna also showed her love for Swiftās new album by including her new song āOpaliteā in her tribute to Travis in honor of his birthday. Ahead of the release of Swiftās 12th record, Travis shared that āOpaliteā was his favorite track. Swift later confirmed the tune was, indeed, her fiancĆ©ās favorite.
Swift also touched on the deeper meaning behind āOpaliteā and how it has a direct connection to Travis.
āOpal can be man-made just like diamonds, and so, Travisā birthstone is an opal,ā she shared. āIāve always fixated on that, [and] Iāve always loved that stone. I thought it was kind of a cool metaphor that, like, itās a man-made opal and happiness can also be man-made, too. Thatās what the song is about, the juxtaposition of those two.ā
