Communities in Schools of Brunswick County and local merchants are gearing up their shops to offer you the best and brightest current fashions.
A tea and fashion show fundraiser features lunch with tea (provided by Robert Ruark Inn in Southport) and dessert, along with a fashion show, which highlights the latest styles from ShopGirl, Boo & Roo’s, Ocean Outfitters, and the Communities in Schools Thrift Shops.

The event will be emceed by professional stylist Danielle Harris of The Modified Style in Wilmington, who will provide styling tips throughout the show, along with Paul Mills from Brunswick Community College. Community members and Communities in Schools staff will be modeling. The event will showcase men’s and women’s fashions.
The event benefits Communities in Schools and its work with students who attend Brunswick County Schools.
Communities in Schools has been working for many years in partnership with Brunswick County Schools and others to provide students with the support needed to be academically, socially and emotionally successful, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Where: St. James Community Center, Southport
Tickets: $35, can be purchased at any of the CIS thrift shops or https://cisbrunswick.org/. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
