Marinkovikj and Wiesemann helped GW women’s tennis to a 2-0 weekend with victories over George Mason and Saint Joseph’s. The pair won both of their respective singles matches in straight sets, lifting GW to a 4-0 win over the Patriots and a 4-1 triumph vs. the Hawks. Wiesemann leads the team with 12 singles wins this season, all at the No. 1 spot. Marinkovikj is second on the squad with 11 wins at the No. 2 spot.
GW improved to 4-3 in conference play and will host Duquesne on Saturday for Senior Day before competing in the Atlantic 10 Championship on April 27-30 in Orlando, Fla.
