Christine Baumgartner Finds Love Again with Financier Josh Connor (Exclusive)

Christine Baumgartner is starting fresh and embracing a new chapter.

Following the end of her 18-year marriage to Yellowstone star Kevin Costner, Baumgartner has found love again with financier Josh Connor, a longtime friend and former neighbor of the now-divorced couple.

Baumgartner, 50, filed for divorce from Costner in May 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences,” and finalized the split in February 2024 after a highly publicized legal battle. Now, the former handbag designer, who shares three children with Costner, is moving forward — and she couldn’t be happier.

A source tells PEOPLE, “Christine and Josh’s relationship started as a friendship, so they have a really strong foundation. They share the same values, and she feels so happy and supported in this new relationship.”

The pair, who have largely kept their relationship private, have been enjoying quality time together this holiday season.

Over the past week, Baumgartner and Connor took in the festive sights of New York City, walking hand-in-hand around Rockefeller Center and through the streets of Greenwich Village. They also attended an intimate holiday party hosted by close friends in Brooklyn.

“They’re so in love,” the source adds. “It’s been a very natural and positive step forward for Christine.”

PEOPLE exclusively reported that Baumgartner had been dating Connor for months in January, when a friend of Baumgartner’s said the two had been seeing each other “since she split from Kevin.”

Baumgartner and her beau were initially seen spending time together in Hawaii during a July 2023 getaway.
