Christina Applegate is getting ready for a big night as she attends her first award show after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS).
Ahead of the Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday, Jan. 15, Applegate tweeted about her emotions regarding the event.
She wrote, “So this Sunday will be the first awards show I have been to since 2019. And the first since MS. NERVOUS! But grateful to the @CriticsChoice for including me.
Applegate, 51, is nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Jen Harding in Dead to Me, which aired its third and final season in the fall of 2022.
The MS Association of America replied to Applegate on Twitter, writing a message of support, saying, “Congratulations- we will be rooting for you always!”
