Chris Pratt is in talks to make a sequel to The Tomorrow War.

A 42-year-old actor star from the new action movie and Amazon Studios is already in talks with Chris about a possible sequel.

According to Deadline, the studio is also keen to rehire director Chris McKay and screenwriter Zach Dean.

Other cast members such as Yvonne Strahovsky, Betty Gilpin, Sam Richardson, Edwin Hodge and JK Simmons are also lined up to return to the sequel.

The Tomorrow War has proven to be popular with viewers since it was recently released on Amazon Prime Video, and the studio is now keen to build on the success of the project.

This move is part of Amazon’s broad ambition to gather a large number of movie franchises on Amazon’s platform.

Meanwhile, Chris McKay recently admitted that he wanted to make a sequel to The Tomorrow War.

The director enjoys filming the alien invasion thriller and hopes to return to the idea at some point in the future.

He states: “We had a very enjoyable design process. We had a world of these creatures, where they came from, how they were created or raised, and how they were used. I talked about it. You have some kind of time travel potential.

“The sequel is to go to many fun areas, the ethnographic study of White Spike in their world, where they came from, what their purpose was, and all that. I think you can.

“Well, I think it’s a lot of fun, and even with this cast, we’re just getting started.”
