Boston Celtics updated Team Outlook after All-Star Guard Jrue Holiday was acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Portland Trail Blazers. The Celtics sent 6th man of the year Malcolm Brogdon, C Rob Williams, Golden State’s 2024 1st rounder and a 2029 unprotected 1st round pick to Portland in exchange for Holiday. This trade will hurt Boston’s depth, but gives them perhaps the best starting 5 in the association and will place them firmly among the elite championship contenders in the NBA.
