Canopy Growth Corp. on Friday unveiled a management shakeup that includes the departure of a pair of top executives.
The Smiths Falls, Ontario, cannabis company said Mike Lee, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and Rade Kovacevic, president and chief product officer, are stepping down and would leave Canopy at the end of the year.
Canopy said Judy Hong, vice president of investor relations and competitive intelligence, would serve as interim chief financial officer, while Tara Rozalowsky, vice president of beverage and edibles, would serve as interim chief product officer.
Canopy said it has launched an external search to fill both roles, adding that Messrs. Lee and Kovacevic would serve in an advisory capacity to assist with the transition.
Mr. Lee joined Canopy in February 2019 and became chief financial officer in June of that year. Mr. Kovacevic, who joined Canopy in 2015, has been president since 2019.
