Bruno Mars‘s latest single “I Just Might,” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, the publication revealed on Tuesday, marking Mars’s 10th number one hit in his career.
“I Just Might,” the lead single for Mars’s upcoming fourth solo album The Romantic, opened with 23 million streams and 13,000 traditional sales, per Billboard, beating out Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” for the top spot. Below Swift, Huntrix’s “Golden” came in third this week, followed by Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” and Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” rounding out the Top 5.
The Romantic will be Mars’s first solo album in a decade, following 2016’s 24k Magic. It’s set to release on February 27, one of the most-anticipated albums in a stacked year that will also include new music from stars including Harry Styles and Madonna among others. Zach Bryan already released his latest album With Heaven on Top this month, with that record topping Billboard’s Albums Chart this week. A$AP Rocky, meanwhile just dropped his latest album Don’t Be Dumb last week, with that album a strong contender for next week’s chart too.
While Mars hasn’t released a solo album since 24k Magic, he’s had a handful of star-studded collaborations and features. His Silk Sonic collaboration with Anderson .Paak won the duo a pair of Grammys for record and song of the year, while global smash “Apt” with Rosé and duet “Die with A Smile” with Lady Gaga were two of the biggest songs of 2025.
Mars will be hitting the road with his Romantic World Tour, which set a single-day record for tickets sold when the on-sale began last week, according to promoter Live Nation.
