First, New York has been one of the worst first-half teams in the NFL this season. Second, the success of this game will be dictated by red zone touchdowns.
The Jets have struggled to find points early in games in 2025. They’re currently averaging only 6.8 first-half points per game. That ranks 28th in the NFL this season, and that number dips to only 4.5 on the road.
New York doesn’t get better on defense, though. They’re giving up the third-most first-half points (18.0) per game. Overall, they’re losing the first half by an average of 11.2 points per game.
