BROCKTON — A local model found inspiration from femininity and the art culture scene deeply rooted in Brockton. Then, just like that, Epc Ltvn, a chic streetwear clothing brand, was launched.
“My idea was to make clothes you don’t want to take off. You know those outfits you don’t want to take off because you look so good? Yeah. That was the goal,” said Eliane Cabral, a model and owner of Epc Ltvn.
Cabral found her calling while sewing outfits to fit her personal sense of style.
This hobby became a money-maker once she put the ideas together and officially launched them in 2020.As a teenager and young adult, Cabral spent hours creating outfits from scratch to attend social events and gatherings.
The kicker to this was having outfits no one else had, she said.
Fashion is how Cabral expresses herself while bringing high feminine energy to the world.

Cabral is also a signed model to Maggie Agency In Boston.
The style concept behind the clothing brand is chic streetwear that makes you feel free, confident and sexy, Cabral said.
It wasn’t until the pandemic hit that Cabral started taking her hobby seriously, turning it into a business.
COVID gave the entrepreneur plenty of time to develop marketing material, find models in Brockton, create a website, stitch items by hand and build a content calendar.
Cabral currently lives in Quincy but spends a lot of time in Brockton, immersing herself in the music culture and arts scene. This inspiring atmosphere helps her create new designs, she said.

Deep in the basement of Cabral’s aunt’s house in Brockton, she cooks up some of her bright ideas and develops a visual marketing strategy for the brand.
One of her latest strategies was joining a local pop-up in Brockton to network with city locals and sell outfits.
“I’m making clothes for people who want to be their most confident selves and help them build a wardrobe that’s authentic to them,” Cabral said.
The brand prides itself on creating one-of-a-kind pieces, size inclusivity and limited collections.
“We range from the standard sizes of extra-small to extra-large, but clients can send in their measurements, and we will make the pieces,” Cabral said.
All the shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, two-piece sets and corsets are made by hand.
Cabral has a few people who help her from time to time, but the labor falls on her to complete.
Although the work can be overwhelming, it’s rewarding to the entrepreneur to bring one-of-a-kind pieces to Brockton and the surrounding area.
In addition, to caring about customers’ individuality, Cabral is concerned about the environmental toll the fashion industry puts on the earth.
The solution to this was reducing the brand’s environmental footprint by not mass-producing items that will eventually end up in landfills.
The fashion industry uses a lot of water to create items and pollutes the water with chemicals, Cabral said.
“It’s important to coexist with nature and have a respectful relationship with the earth. We inherited this planet, and it’s our job to give it to the incoming generation,” Cabral said.
Besides hugging the earth, Cabral has big dreams of expanding her businesses and offering the best quality one-of-a-kind pieces and small batched items globally.
As far as the future of the clothing brand, every day, there is a new muse.
