Fifteen games means there are well over 1,000 markets to choose from. Our list narrows things down for you.
Tampa Bay Rays vs. Boston Red Sox
This one has the look of a coin flip. Rays starter Ryan Pepiot has a 3.32 ERA, while Boston starter Bryan Bello checks in at 3.27. Both have allowed two runs or fewer in four of their last five starts. However, Boston has won nine in a row and seems to have a knack for pulling out close games lately.
Our pick: Red Sox ML
To boost value, turn it into a same-game parlay: UNDER 9 (-120) and Red Sox ML (-124)

Miami Marlins vs. Baltimore Orioles
Neither starting pitcher is overwhelming, but teams are hitting just .200 against Marlins righty Eury Perez on the road (four games, 16 1/3 innings). On the other hand, Baltimore’s Brandon Young has allowed nine earned runs across three home starts (13 1/3 innings), and opponents are hitting .321 against him at Camden Yards.
Miami hasn’t been great offensively over the last week (.218 average), but the Marlins did put up six runs yesterday. Perez has allowed just three hits and one earned run in his two July starts (11 innings).
We don’t know who will win the game, but Perez should control the early innings.
Our pick: Marlins ML (first five innings)
Texas Rangers vs. Houston Astros
Texas has been swinging the bats well over the last week (.281), while Houston has not (.238). However, both teams are rolling out top-tier arms. The Rangers send Nathan Eovaldi to the mound (1.62 ERA, 0.85 WHIP), while the Astros counter with Hunter Brown (2.21 ERA, 0.94 WHIP).
With those two on the mound, this has low-scoring written all over it.
Our pick: UNDER 7
