Benson Boone brought the energy to Saturday Night Live!
The musician, 22, appeared as the musical guest during the May 3 episode of the late-night comedy sketch series, which saw Quinta Brunson serve as host.
During his first musical performance, Boone sang “Sorry I’m Here For Someone Else” off his American Heart album.
He donned a purple shirt and pink pants as he flipped over Brunson’s head with a microphone in his hand before taking to the stage to join the live band.

Later in the episode, Boone returned to the stage to perform “Mystical Magical.”
Boone’s appearance marked his SNL debut.
Boone’s SNL appearance took place ahead of the release of his second studio album, American Heart.
The “Beautiful Things” singer announced the album during his set at Coachella 2025 on April 11, later revealing the cover artwork, which sees him standing shirtless in front of an American flag.
Speaking about his upcoming LP with Rolling Stone, Boone told the outlet he had “never believed so much in a body of work” in the past.
Boone has already released two singles from the album, “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else” and “Mystical Magical.”
Saturday Night Live airs on NBC on weekends. American Heart is set to be released on June 20.
