GREENSBORO, N.C. (7/27/22) – The Kean University baseball team has earned a Sports Attack/ American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2021-22 school year.
Founded after the 2015-16 school year, the Cougars were one of 420 programs overall and one of 154 programs from Division III to be honored. Coaches nominated their teams based on the following criteria: Must be a high school or college team, the Head Coach must be a current ABCA member, Teams must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale during the academic year.
Kean collected their fourth team academic award after first being selected in ’17-’18.
