The Oakland Athletics updated Team Outlook after trading away SP Cole Irvin to the Baltimore Orioles for Shortstop prospect Darell Hernaiz. In addition, the O’s will also receive minor-league RHP Kyle Virbitsky. This past season, Irvin pitched a team-high 181 innings for the A’s. Prior to the deal, Hernaiz ranked as the Orioles’ No. 16 prospect.
