Angels vs. Rangers prediction and pick
The Angels are slight underdogs with Ohtani on the bump, and I have to jump at the chance to take them in this game.
Los Angeles is 9-4 straight up when Ohtani starts this season, and he’s allowed three or fewer runs in nine of his 13 starts this season.
Eovaldi has been solid as well (Texas is 9-4 in his starts), but he did get tagged for four runs by the elite Tampa Bay Rays offense in his last outing.

The Angels are actually nearing that territory offensively over this recent stretch, so I wouldn’t be shocked if we see some regression from Eovaldi, who has not pitched this well ever in his career.
