One of Loudoun’s newest wineries announced it will hold a contest to give away an all-inclusive wedding package for frontline workers in August 2022, according to a news release.
Old Farm Winery at Hartland, located in Aldie, is inviting frontline workers such as medical workers, active-duty military, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, police officers and current K-12 teachers to apply for the Heroes Dream Wedding Giveaway at Old Farm Winery at Hartland.
“We are so excited to introduce this beautiful new venue of an old Virginia manor house, conveniently located right here in Eastern Loudoun County,” said winery owner Jon Hickox in a prepared statement. “I can think of no better way to launch this venue, then a dream wedding giveaway to the real heroes within our community who proudly serve and protect us all.”
The winning couple’s wedding will take place Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Old Farm Winery at Hartland’s Longfield Manor, which is currently being renovated.
The vendors for the all-inclusive event include Purple Onion Catering, rentals by Select Event Group, DJ by Last Call Entertainment, photography by Megan Rei Photography, flowers by JP Wedding Flowers, cake by Simply Desserts, a dessert truck by Smallcakes NOVA, and more.
The deadline for applications is February 11, 2022. A winner will be announced on Valentine’s Day.
Applications are limited to engaged couples residing in the DMV area. One or both members of the couple should be a frontline worker.
