The AI character branded “Tilly Norwood” by London-based developers Particle6 is having a bad time on its press tour for Misaligned, its forthcoming and assuredly terrible movie.
On Friday, the model powering Norwood swung by Piers Morgan’s YouTube talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored for a simulated “interview” that might be charitably compared to that feeling that hits the brain just before a migraine strikes. The model powering Norwood had noticeable lag time responding to questions, and when it did, the answers were either generic or misguided, and delivered in a flat tone.
That was the Norwood puppet’s high point. In response to guest and actor Tom Conti, who inquired whether every character in Misaligned is AI-generated, the character initially misunderstood and began rambling about “exploring new ways to tell stories.” When Conti pointed out that’s not what he asked, it responded: “Ah right, you’re asking about the other actors in Misaligned. They’re all digital twins, just like me. It’s a hybrid production, which means…”
Viewers may never know what hybrid productions mean to Norwood, unless of course they speak Cantonese. That’s because after another ill-timed pause, that’s the language Norwood began delivering another anodyne monologue in.
EXCLUSIVE: AI actress Tilly Norwood glitches and starts speaking CHINESE during her interview with Piers Morgan and real-life actor Tom Conti…

Morgan asked why the Norwood character had begun talking in another language “completely randomly, for no reason,” to which the AI said “Oh, my apologies. It seems I had a little hiccup there.” It also insisted such mixups happen “not often at all!” and the switch to Cantonese was a “bit of a curveball even for me.”
Out of fairness, we’ll throw Particle6 a bone. They’ve really demonstrated an incredible feat of technology here—waste enough processing power, and it is indeed possible to out-slop Piers Morgan.
