With the score tied at 44 points apiece and just two seconds left in regulation, Addie Huber knocked down a baseline jumper that proved to make the difference as Middletown (5-8) downed Pequea Valley (5-7) 46-44 on Thursday.
Huber finished with a game-high 16 points and added five boards in a stellar outing. Teammate Makayla Clagget posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Sara Yeich accounted for eight points and seven rebounds. Allie Cleland chipped in six points and 10 boards in the win, respectively.
For the Braves, Shania Stoltzfus led the way with 13 points, 12 of which came from 3-point range. Katie Stoltzfus netted eight points in the tightly-contested loss.
