Abound Credit Union recently was recognized with three statewide awards for its work as an advocate of financial education for youth and adults.
The credit union, which is headquartered in Radcliff, won the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award, the Alphonse Desjardins Youth Financial Education Award and the Alphonse Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award. Sponsored by the Kentucky Credit Union League and Credit Union National Association, the awards recognize the credit union’s commitment to serving its members and the broader community.
The Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award is given to a credit union for its social responsibility projects within the community. Abound was recognized specifically for its major investments in military and community health along with higher education.
The Alphonse Desjardins Financial Education Awards honor leadership within the credit union movement on behalf of youth and adult financial literacy. In the past year, Abound has served thousands of students virtually and in-person, creating a new mobile-first partnership with a local college and launching an after care financial education program on post.

Abound Credit Union, which was organized more than 70 years ago, is Kentucky’s largest credit union with 18 locations, $1.9 billion in assets and more than 113,000 members.
