The Daniels’ superhero movie gets an unusual production title. MST3K returns this September with Sting of Death. Barry Keoghan’s Joker expected to return in The Batman, Part II. It’s not about money, it’s about sending a message: It’s Morning Spoilers!

Children of Blood and Bone
Children of Blood and Bone author Tomi Adeyemi has taken to social media (via World of Reel) to state she has separated herself from Gina Prince-Bythewood’s upcoming film adaptation at Paramount. Starring Thuso Mbedu, Tosin Cole, Amandla Stenberg, Damson Idris, Cynthia Erivo, Lashana Lynch, Regina King, Idris Elba, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Viola Davis, the story “is set in an African fantasy kingdom where a young woman embarks on a quest to restore the magic that was violently stolen from her people.”
There is a reason I will not post anything about the adaptation of my work.
That’s all.
From this point, if you want to support me, you can purchase any edition of the trilogy at a local independent children’s bookstore (Books of Wonder, NYC).
And lastly, since someone asked- I have not seen the film and will not watch it.
It’s been painful holding this back from you all.
And I’m sorry if any of you thought I didn’t care. I will always care more about US. More than any glitter.
In response to a fan on TikTok asking her to elaborate, Adeymi shared:
I’m sorry, my love. tried everything I could to make this work. And I do mean EVERYTHING.
What I did was work for 14 years to make this a reality. All final decisions are the director’s and they always have been. If you were told they were mine, you were lied to on purpose.
