The team that originated the group chat, which Nolin described as “hateful,” was shut down from season play. “Any and all students involved in such behavior, even as bystanders, will be subject to possible investigation,” Nolin wrote. In addition to investigations, Nolin promised parents that the “hateful culture” would be addressed by having team members participate in training programs in lieu of their practices or games.
