30 Fashion Things Getting Me Excited for My Wedding Next Summer

Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one Who What Wear team member or friend of the brand will share the top 30 finds on their current wish list.

When my mouth opens and I say the words “I’m getting married” in conversation, I still feel like I’m dreaming. I could lie and pretend I’ve been nonchalant about this whole thing, but I have to be honest. I’m that person who’s been planning her wedding since, well, she first knew what a wedding was. I’ve always thought about the type of venue I wanted, the song I’d walk down the aisle to, the color of my flowers, the… Well, you get it. I’m eager. But as I’m a fashion person through and through, what excites me the most is thinking about all the stylish pieces I get to wear on the big day and for the events leading up to it.

Lucky for me, I have about a whole year to plan for everything. But of course, I’ve already begun a deep dive into all the things on the market currently. (Hey, you can never be too prepared!) Keep scrolling for the 30 things I’m already eyeing for next summer’s festivities.

Accessories

Cult Gaia Dory Feather Wristlet ($368)

The pearl-and-feather combo is everything I could ever ask for.

Chanel Interlocking CC Logo Cat-Eye Sunglasses ($295)

It’s going to be incredibly warm and sunny during our wedding weekend, so I want a chic pair of sunnies to protect my eyes, and these Chanel ones with pearl details will do just the trick.

Graff Castle Set Round Diamond Wedding Band ($11500)

I haven’t purchased my wedding band yet, but I do know this much: I want it to be timeless. Not only is this one so classic, but it’s downright stunning. And I mean, who doesn’t want just a few more diamonds on their hand?

Aerin Beauty Tuberose Le Jour Parfum ($240)

Fragrance is an accessory to me. I want to have a special scent that I wear on my wedding day, as well as all of our anniversaries to follow.

Agent Provocateur Averi Satin-Trimmed Tulle and Lace Garter ($65)

So, so pretty.

Jennifer Behr Bailey Pearl-Embellished Headband ($325)

My manager wore a headband to her wedding, and now I can’t stop thinking about them.

Sleeper Zephyr Ruffle Gloves ($180)

I’ve been leaning more and more into the idea of gloves.

Tia Adeoloa Crystal Clear Veil ($220)

I don’t even think I’m going to wear a veil to cover my face, but this is giving me a lot of feels.

Cult Gaia Eos Bauble Acrylic Box Clutch ($298)

Can you tell I have a thing for pearls?

Diptyque Fleur de Peau Multiuse Fragrance ($110)

Another heavenly scent idea.

Apparel

Jacquemus La Robe Novio ($1060)

While my ceremony dress will have much more volume, I want my reception dress to be simple and sleek.

La Perla White Silk Short Slip ($245)

Time to throw out those worn-out tees that I’ve been sleeping in.

Rotate Birger Christensen Augustina Double-Breasted Metallic Jacquard Blazer ($137)

I don’t know what bridal event I’d wear this to, but I feel like this blazer deserves some sort of moment.

Significant Other Marielle Dress in Cream ($208)

Rehearsal dinner? Engagement party? Bridal party? I’ve got options.

Staud Astro Dress ($375)

I have two engagement parties planned—one with friends and one with family—and this is a great option for both.

Sleeper Michelin Off-The-Shoulder Silk Dress ($420)

I also love this in the linen version.

Nanushka Najya Mini Dress ($595)

I’ll definitely need some going-out dresses for my bachelorette party.

Saint Laurent Feather-Trimmed Crêpe Dress ($5490)

Major second-dress vibes.

Bronx and Banco Stella Bridal Gown ($980)

A good sleeve moment is never a bad idea.

Cult Gaia Ansel Dress Off White Ombré ($1598)

I could write a book about my love for Cult Gaia.

The Frankie Shop Iben Knit Dress ($88)

Perfect for my honeymoon.

Shoes

Manolo Blahnik Leather BB 105 Heels ($665)

Just total classics.

Amina Muaddi White Nappa Begum Sling Heels ($1130)

Before I was even engaged, I knew I wanted these shoes.

Amina Muaddi Gilda 95mm Crystal-Embellished Sandals ($995)

Amina Muaddi just has it down.

By Far Leather Slingback Sandals w/ Tags ($221)

This heel is so cool.

Chanel Sandals ($1125)

I don’t think they’re quite formal enough for my gown, but they’d be great for a pre-wedding event like my rehearsal dinner or bridal shower.

Mach & Mach 105mm Tulle-Bow Pumps ($1050)

Such a fun statement pair of heels. And the dusty rose is neutral enough to go with all of my white.

Saint Laurent Luna faux pearl-embellished leather sandals ($1095)

I tried these on a few weeks ago and got butterflies.

Staud Gita Sandal in Fuchsia ($114)

Two words: bachelorette party.

Prada Leather Slides ($625)

We’re getting married here in L.A., and the weekend will include a lot of beach activities. I think having a cute pair of slide sandals to go with a white suit would be so cute to wear. They’d also be a great thing to have for post-reception dancing.
