The 2023 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo musical lineup was just announced on Thursday, January 5, with anticipated ticket sales set to open on Thursday, Jan. 12.

This year local Conroe native Parker McCollum will kick off the event performing on February 28 for opening day, and big names in the music industry to follow through March 19 and will include Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown Band, Cody Jinks, Luke Bryan and more.

The concert will start at 9 p.m., with gates to the NRG opening at 6 p.m. the website notes concert start times can vary due to the number of rodeo competitors and production elements.
Ticket sales are set to open on Thursday, Jan. 12, and will be sold in two waves, from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., according to the event’s website. Wave one tickets will be sold for performances on Feb. 28 through March 9. Wave two tickets will go on sale for March 10 through March 19 scheduled performances. The online waiting rooms will open at 9:30 a.m. for wave one and 1:30 p.m. for wave two. Customers in the waiting room will be randomly selected to enter the store to purchase tickets at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
