Wisconsin Sports Performance has opened in Menomonee Falls

Bringing a wealth of sports experience, Stephen Linzmeier has opened his own training facility in Menomonee Falls.

Linzmeier was assistant strength coach for the Butler University men’s basketball team, which finished runner-up in the 2012 NCAA D-1 championship. He was also the assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Indianapolis, head strength and conditioning coach at Lincoln Memorial University and head strength coach at Brookfield East High School.

Linzmeier opened Wisconsin Sports Performance, N85 W15786 Appleton Ave., in December. The facility is designed to train youth and college-age athletes, and has classes geared toward adults.

Its 2,100-square-foot space is equipped with green turf, fitness equipment and free weights, Linzmeier said.
