“Flip or Flop” host Tarek El Moussa, 38, and “Selling Sunset” star Heather Rae Young, 32, are engaged, the couple announced July 26. “She said yes!” El Moussa wrote in an Instagram post, adding the hashtag “#FlippingHerLastName.” El Moussa was previously married to his “Flip or Flop” co-host, Christina Anstead. The two officially divorced in 2018 after nine years of marriage.
The “Flip or Flop” host, 40, and “Selling Sunset” realtor, 34, tied the knot Saturday night at a hotel near Santa Barbara, the couple confirmed on Instagram. Young wore a custom corset dress designed by Galia Lahav, while El Moussa opted for a black velvet tux, according to a People interview published Saturday.
“We’re best friends, we’re true soulmates, and our love is so rare and so special,” Young told the magazine. “It’s the love I’ve always dreamed of my whole life.”

“I’m just excited to live this life with her,” El Moussa added. “We’ve got the two babies, we have a family, and we have a very bright future.”
The two also shared their sweet wedding photos on Instagram.

“MR. AND MRS. EL MOUSSA!!! I married the love of my life today. My sweet man, my everything. Cheers to forever and then some,” Young wrote on Instagram Saturday alongside photos of the two.
El Moussa shared the same picture, writing, “WE’RE MARRIED!!!! Flipped her name for good.”
The reality stars began dating in 2016 but went Instagram official three years later. In July 2020, El Moussa announced that he and Young got engaged during a surprise one-year anniversary celebration on California’s Catalina Island.
“She said yes!” El Moussa wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of him placing the eight carat emerald-cut diamond ring on Young’s finger, with the hashtag #FlippingHerLastName.
Young showed off the same photo on Instagram, confirming the happy news and the name change. “The Future Mrs. Tarek El Moussa!!!!” she wrote at the time.
This is Young’s first marriage and the second for El Moussa, who was previously married to HGTV star Christina Haack before splitting in 2016. El Moussa shares two children with Haack: daughter Taylor, 11, and son Brayden, 6.

Meadow Rain Walker, the 22-year-old daughter of the late Paul Walker, announced she and boyfriend Louis Thornton-Allan got married in an Instagram post on Oct. 22. “we’re married,” she wrote alongside a sweet black-and-white video of the ceremony.
“Schitt’s Creek” actress Sarah Levy revealed that she and actor and producer Graham Outerbridge tied the knot on Oct. 16. “Bells are ringing,” she captioned a photobooth picture from the wedding.
Her brother, actor Dan Levy, also shared the news on Instagram: “My sister got married this weekend. This is absolutely not a photo of us screaming the lyrics to S Club Party on the dance floor. Love you.”
“Awkward” actress Jillian Rose Reed and musician Marty Shannon tied the knot with a “desert chic” wedding on Oct. 11.” Our wedding is my actual dream come true,” Reed told People in an interview published Monday.
Reed and Shannon got married at Rimrock Ranch in California, a spot Reed says she “fell in love with” as soon as she saw the location. “There really was no other option for me. We toured a few other places but we just fell in love with the open desert.”
In addition to gearing up for his new role as the host of “Bachelor,” Jesse Palmer is also taking on the role of husband this year. The NFL alum and his wife, model Emely Fardo, confirmed to People magazine on Oct. 4 that they tied the knot at a close friend’s house in Connecticut after postponing their nuptials due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Big or small, wedding party or not, we feel so grateful and lucky to have found each other!” the couple told the magazine.
OK, so it technically didn’t happen in 2021. But “Orange Is the New Black” star Uzo Aduba first revealed on Sept. 12 that she married filmmaker Robert Sweeting last year in a secret New York ceremony.
“For some of us, it can feel like we spend our whole lives waiting for our special someone,” she captioned a sweet selfie of the two in their wedding attire. “My heart, my love — I’m so happy my life started last year with you. You’re the best thing that ever happened to me.”

“It’s the ‘yes’ for me…” he wrote alongisde a picture of Merrell’s hand showing off a beautiful engagement ring. In June, the “Trading Spaces” alum shared a sweet birthday message to his girlfiend. “Thank you …Universe …for creating this amazing human… who somehow tolerates me …even tho I’m beginning to look like papa smurf after a Willie Nelson concert,” he quipped.
“Glee” star Jenna Ushkowitz and partner David Stanley tied the knot July 24, in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at a historic home in Los Angeles, California, according to Brides magazine. “We were elated and so grateful that we didn’t have to push our wedding and that we got to have the day of our dreams,” the actress told the publication. “It was such a gift that we were able to share it with our friends and family.”
The 35-year-old took to Instagram to share a glimpse at their “magical day.” The beautiful bride kept it simple, but stunning, in a strapless wedding dress, mid-length veil, and wore her hair in loose waves. “Mr and Mrs Stanley 7.24.21 ✨ The MOST magical day getting to marry this is man,” she wrote on social media.
During a July 19 episode of her podcast “Anna Faris is Unqualified,” Faris, 44, accidentally let it slip that she and her fiancé Michael Barrett tied the knot, referring to Barrett, 51, as her spouse. Later in the interview, Faris clarified to a caller that Barrett is “now my husband,” before apologizing to him for spilling the personal news.
“Yes, we eloped… I’m sorry. I didn’t know. I’m sorry, honey. I just blurted that out, but it just feels (like) I can’t say fiancé anymore,” she said. “It was great. It was at a local courthouse up in Washington state. It was great.”
Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice, surprised fans July 13 when she revealed she tied the knot with fiance Jade Jones. The former Spice Girl shared a loving photo of the two on their big day on Instagram. “Mr and Mrs Jones!” she captioned the photo, in which she’s seen wearing a short white wedding dress and flower crown.
Of course, Baby Spice received congratulatory messages from her Spice Girl bandmates. “Congratulations, love u both so much!! X,” wrote Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice. “Yeahhhhhh! Congratulations love you all sooooooo much,” commented Mel C, aka Sporty Spice. And Scary Spice, Mel B, added, “Yipppeee.”
The two have been in a relationship for 21 years and share sons Tate, 10, and Beau, 13.
Don Cheadle revealed on a June 30 episode of the “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” hosted by Wanda Sykes, that he and longtime girlfriend Bridgid Coulter tied the knot earlier this year.
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro announced in a June 21 Instagram post that’s he’s engaged to girlfriend Saffire Matos. He popped the question beach-side with letters spelling out “marry me” in the sand and “#SheSaidYes,” he wrote.

Country music singer Jimmie Allen got married to his “forever” Alexis Gale in May. Days after the official ceremony, Allen posted two photos from the wedding on his Instagram on May 30.
“My Forever 🖤 I love you,” he wrote on one post. On the other he wrote, “Mr & Mrs Allen.”
The couple welcomed a baby girl, Naomi Allen, in March 2020, making them a family of four including Allen’s first child from a previous relationship, Aadyn Allen, 6.
“2 Broke Girls” alum Kat Dennings announced her engagement to Andrew W.K. on Instagram May 13 following a whirlwind romance after meeting in Los Angeles early 2021. The couple went Instagram official weeks before their engagement announcement.
Jenni “JWoww” Farley and wrestler Zack Clayton Carpinello got engaged Feb. 27, the “Jersey Shore” alum announced on March 9.
“I said yes on the top of the Empire State Building,” she captioned an Instagram post featuring photos of the two kissing while overlooking New York City.
Farley shares two young children, Greyson and Meilani, with ex Roger Matthews, to whom she was married from 2015 to 2019.
Nicolas Cage, 57, tied the knot for a fifth time to 26-year-old Riko Shibata in Las Vegas on Feb. 16, the actor’s representative Shannon Barr confirmed to USA TODAY in March.
“It’s true, and we are very happy,” Cage said in a statement.
The newlyweds exchanged traditional Catholic and Shinto vows during their intimate ceremony at Las Vegas’ Wynn Hotel. Shibata wore a handmade Japanese bridal kimono from her native country while Cage opted for a Tom Ford tuxedo. The wedding ceremony was followed by a small reception attended by Cage’s ex-wife Alice Kim and their 15-year-old son Kal-El. Cage also shares son Weston, 30, with actress Christina Fulton.
Paris Hilton announced her engagement to boyfriend Carter Reum on Feb. 17, sharing a photo montage following his proposal.
“My love & I have been together since our first date, and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to tropical paradise,” Hilton wrote on Instagram. “We walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped to one knee. 💍 I said yes, yes to forever ❤️ There’s no one I’d rather spend forever with.”
