Chrissy Teigen has bowed out of a planned voice role in the Netflix comedy “Never Have I Ever” in the wake of revelations that she once engaged in online bullying against model and reality TV personality Courtney Stodden.

Teigen opted to drop out of a planned voice role in one episode of the upcoming Season 2 of the Netflix coming of age comedy from Mindy Kaling. The series features voice-over narration for key characters performed by guest actors.

“Never Have I Ever” revolves around a first-generation Indian American teenage girl navigating high school while dealing with the loss of her father. A spokesman for the show said the role is expected to be recast.

Teigen issued a public apology on May 12 after Stodden revealed in an interview with Daily Beast that Teigen harassed them online a decade ago after Stodden married actor Doug Hutchison when they were 16 and he was 60. Stodden revealed that Teigen sent them direct messages with cruel taunts such as “I can’t wait for you to die.”

Teigen apologized to Stodden publicly in a lengthy Twitter post in which Teigen sought to call herself to account.

“Not a lot of people are lucky enough to e held accountable for all their past bulls— in front of the entire world. I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll,” Teigen wrote in a Twitter post. The “Lip Sync Battle” host has 13.5 million followers on Twitter and 34.9 million followers on Instagram has not sent a tweet since her three-part apology on May 12. Her last Instagram post on May 11 featured a page from one of her cook books.

“Never Have I Ever” hails from Universal Television. Mindy Kaling created the series with Lang Fisher, who is executive producer and showrunner. Kaling also exec produces with 3 Arts Entertainment’s Howard Klein and David Miner.

David Spade, Billy Eichner posing for a photo: Cue “Almost Paradise!” Bachelor in Paradise is set to return for season 7 in August, but Chris Harrison will not be leading the beach crew. Instead, the show will include multiple celebrity guest hosts who will rotate during the season. Us Weekly confirmed that comedian David Spade, who is a longtime fan of the franchise, will be at the show’s helm for two episodes. Harrison, 49, has hosted the Bachelor spinoff since its first season in 2014. He stepped away from The Bachelor during Matt James’ season following controversial comments made about contestant Rachael Kirkconnell. The former Who Wants to Be a Millionaire host will also sit out Katie Thurston‘s upcoming season of The Bachelorette. Former leads Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams will fill in for season 17. Harrison has apologized several times for his remarks, which seemingly defended Kirkconnell’s racially insensitive posts. “I believe that mistake doesn’t reflect who I am or what I stand for,” he told Good Morning America in March, noting that he does plan to eventually return. “I am committed to progress, not just for myself, also for the franchise. And this is a franchise that has been a part of my life for the better part of 20 years and I love it.” Spade, 56, confirmed his hosting gig on Thursday, June 3, posting multiple screenshots of fans commenting on the news via his Instagram Stories. The Saturday Night Live alum is a longtime fan of the ABC franchise, often taking to Instagram to comment on the episodes. However, he’s only one of the many celebrities who are huge fans of the show. Us Weekly has gathered other celebs who would be great at guest-hosting Bachelor in Paradise. Season 7 premieres on ABC Monday, August 16, at 8 p.m. ET.
