The Big 12 could very well possess the deepest amount of talent that we’ve ever seen ahead of the 2021 season. However, it could also be the last we’ll see of it.
Texas and Oklahoma are SEC bound, and the other eight schools could be in search of a new conference to call home. For the 2021 season, the Big 12 still exists, and there are high expectations across the board for the programs in the conference.
With the college football season officially just weeks away, CBS sports released their preseason rankings from the top team in the nation to the worst team in the nation.
The rankings featured three Big 12 teams in the top 25, with two teams in the top 10 and five teams in the top 30. We could potentially witness six Big 12 teams find their way into the top 25 rankings at some point this year, but for now, CBS has a couple schools on the outside looking in.
