Happiest place on earth! Gigi Hadid took her birthday celebration to the next level by channeling her inner Disney princess in Orlando.
The model, 28, created a Little Mermaid music video on Sunday, April 23, while wandering around Disney World — complete with lip-syncing and a behind-the-scenes look at her squad’s weekend at the theme park.
“More from my *dream bday weekend* soon …. but @patrickta and I had so much fun (& laughs) making this, to say: Thanks for all the birthday love I’ve felt from here at Disney and all over the world. 💖,” Hadid captioned the clip, which was filmed by her makeup artist Patrick Ta. “My heart is full of gratitude !!!! 🌞🧜♀️🏰💛 @disneyparks @waltdisneyworld #waltdisneyworld.”
The California native started out in the video surrounded by Disney stuffed animals as “Part of This World” from The Little Mermaid played in the background. Hadid took on Ariel’s vocals while showing off her “whozits and whatzits galore” in the form of her lavish wardrobe and shoe collection.
The Guest in Residence designer, who shares 2-year-old daughter Khai with ex Zayn Malik, was then transported to Disney World where she danced around Main Street.
“I wanna be where the people are,” she lip synced while wearing a pink Disney T-shirt and matching shorts. “I wanna see … I wanna see them dancing!” The birthday girl ended the her song with a laugh as the camera panned away.
Hadid documented her magical getaway via her Instagram Story over the weekend as well, including the chocolate covered strawberries she received upon her arrival.
During one of her mornings in Orlando, the Vogue cover model and her crew enjoyed breakfast with Minnie, Goofy and Mickey. “A dream is a wish your heart makes,” Hadid captioned a selfie with two of the characters, which she posted on Sunday.
The group then ventured to the Animal Kingdom to see some of the wild animals on a safari trek. The former MasterChef guest star later treated her friends to dinner at Epcot’s Space 220 restaurant in the Centauri Space Station.
Hadid was treated to a special cake for the occasion: a two-tiered blue and white confection. The treat had a gold crown on top, white flowers and a picture of her with Cinderella from a trip to Disneyland as a child.
“Disney Parks Lifer,” the Next in Fashion cohost captioned a social media snap of the dessert.
