At the premiere of Praise This movie, music star Chloe Bailey strutted the carpet in a beguiling yellow number and a dreamy face beat to boot. Her look played the easy, breezy card, which was characterized by light, feathery brows, and nude lips. Per usual, a bit of flair was needed to keep attention on her toned-down makeup, and witchy lashes got the job done. One thing’s for sure: the flowy dress and effortless doll-up are just the right amounts of sass spring calls for. 

Elsewhere, Monica Denise took the celebrity spring makeup task up a notch with dramatic eyes. A black eye pencil emphasized her eyes as a neutral eyeshadow served as a solid backdrop. Add to that her prominent brows, dramatic lashes, and nude lips, and you see why we couldn’t resist this look.

Fulani braids and Bantu knots are two of the most popular hairstyles that flatter most faces. Last week, Nigerian actress Osas Ighodaro merged the two for a unique hairstyle that earned our approval.
