The Orlando Magic updated Team Outlook after waiving former first-round draft pick, Shooting Guard R.J. Hampton. Hampton, 22, played in 25 games for Denver in his rookie season before the Nuggets traded him to Orlando as part of the F Aaron Gordon trade in 2021. In 26 contests this season, Hampton averaged 5.7 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists on 13.9 minutes per game. Hampton is set to sign with the Detroit Pistons. The Magic are also promoting two-way player F Admiral Schofield to a standard contract with a team option 23-24 Season.
