De Vries joins Alpha Tauri

With Pierre Gasly moving on, Yuki Tsunoda gets a new team-mate.
Alpha Tauri have announced that Dutch driver Nyck de Vries will join the team from 2023 following Gasly’s departure.
De Vries recently stood in for Alex Albon at Williams in Monza and finished ninth on his Formula 1 debut.
“I’m extremely excited to be joining Scuderia Alpha Tauri for 2023 and I want to thank both Red Bull and the team for giving me the opportunity to drive in F1,” said Formula 2 and Formula E champion De Vries.
